Description

Myrefjell, Målselv fjellandsby
The cabin is located on a steep slope directly connected to the ski resort. It is closed off towards the mountain and the access point and opens up towards the view of the valley to the south. The roof almost reaches the ground at the rear. The roof is a concrete slab of folded triangles that is covered with turf. From above and the access point, the building appears as an extension of the landscape. From below, the cabin has two stories, and it is the horizontal bands of concrete and glass that dominate. The glass railing that borders the large outdoor terrace on the first floor is an important part of this. This terrace is situated above the bedrooms in the lower floor and is partially covered by the concrete roof.
