The cabin was awarded the Concrete Element Prize in 2021. The prize was established in 1987 by the Concrete Element Association. It is given as recognition for talented and good architectural use of concrete elements in a building in Norway. The jury for the award consists of members from the association as well as the Norwegian Association of Architects and the Consulting Engineers' Association.
