Description

The cabin is constructed from concrete elements, where the concrete in the outer layer is slightly pigmented black and mixed with natural gravel to achieve a color tone that best matches the mountain landscape. Inside, the concrete is exposed without additives. The material highlights the site where the gray rock dominates. This is particularly effective due to the local aggregate in the outer wall. The concrete is affected by weather and wind, and over time, it may appear more and more as an integrated part of the landscape. The wall on the upper side is clad with reused formwork boards, which provides a lively surface and a relation to the concrete surfaces.
