The façade on the south side of the administration building is equipped with balconies, bestowing the building with an inviting quality. This side of the building is visible from the lake Langvatnet and in subsequent years from the main roadway alongside the lake. The appearance of the consoles, supporting the balcony on the first storey, suggests the Baroque style was used as a source of inspiration.
