"Villa Breidablikk" (3 of 5)
Description
Villa Breidablikk was designed in 1913 by the architect Andreas Hesselberg Bjercke (1883-1967). The project's drawings were presented at the 1914 Jubilee Exhibition in Christiania (now Oslo) and are supposed to have been awarded a gold medal. The building work got under way in Bodø the same year, but to a somewhat reduced specification. The client, barrister Ragnar Martinus Schjolberg, was at the time one of the county of Nordland's leading industrialists.
