In 1999 Villa Breidablikk was given protected status in accordance with the Norwegian Cultural Heritage Act. The buildings have undergone remarkably few alterations. The listing therefore includes both the exterior and the interior, the garden room, the outbuilding, the construction, windows, doors, room structure, fixed furnishings, use of materials and surface treatments as well as some loose furnishings such as lamps. Some of the surrounding land is also included in the listing.
