Forvik fergekai (Forvik Ferry Terminal)
Description
Forvik
The new Forvik Ferry Terminal is on the Norwegian Scenic Route Helgelandskysten (County Road 17) on the other side of the bay from the original terminal and the old trading post Forvik. A long cut was made in the terrain for the new road with car waiting areas. To amplify the effect of this the terminal building sits crossways with an eye-catching upside down vault steel roof. Steps lead up to the old road to the old trading post.
