Mosjøen videregående skole (Mosjøen High School)
Description
Kirkegata 9, 8656 Mosjøen
Mosjøen High School is situated in the centre of Mosjøen and fills a whole quarter of the town grid that was set out towards the end of the 19th century. To the south is the town park, but otherwise the school is surrounded by business premises and predominantly detached housing. The compact three storey building with its continuous rows of windows, two at each floor, and the bold exposed load bearing construction of the gymnasium roof are typical of late modernist architecture, which emphasized construction and materials.
