"Lundenes gård" (3 of 4)
Description
The local heritage museum consists of six buildings, some of unknown age. In addition to the protected main building, there is a storehouse, a barn with interior fittings, and a cowshed with older agricultural tools. By the sea, there is a boathouse containing local boats and equipment, a small fisherman's cabin, and a house with older boat engines.
The heritage museum was officially opened on June 20, 1969, after the municipality took ownership the year before. With its buildings and over 3,000 registered artifacts, it is one of the best-equipped heritage museums in Northern Norway.
