The main house was erected in 1868 in two stories with a turf roof. It stands on a foundation of natural stone and is built of timber in partly large dimensions, likely Bardu timber, which is left unboarded. The house has a double-leaf entrance door and empire-style windows with a central mullion and elaborate framing. The entrance door leads to a hallway with a small room behind, and the large room on the first floor is a living room with a kitchen behind. The living room has a large open fireplace. There is a separate kitchen entrance with an added porch. The second floor has a hallway loft, small room loft, and living room loft.
