The rectangular nave and the solid tower, both built in local hewn stone, dominate the first impression of the church. The quoins and windows are emphasized by the use of lighter coloured stones. On each side of the nave there are three tall windows with semicircular arches. The slate roofs of the nave and chancel have a diamond pattern whilst the pyramidal roof of the tower is clad in copper.
