Description
The shop, Svendsenbutikken, was moved from Våg in 1986 and both the interior and the exterior are as they were before the move.
The open air museum's flower garden was established in recent years, just after the millennium, and it happened at the same time as the garden at Steigen Vicarage was renovated. The trees is the vicarage garden have grown so much that they keep a lot of sun light out and it was decided to start a flower garden at the open air museum. The aim was to build a flower garden as it might have been in the days of the vicar Wisløff and his wife. The distance between the old and new garden is around 200m.
