Description
Fridastua (Frida's cottage) came from the crofter's farmstead Gjerdet. The cottage originally had two rooms downstairs and a sleeping area upstairs. A woodshed was later added at the end of the house: a common way on small farms in Nordland. The vertical wooden cladding is painted ochre and the cottage has a birch bark and turf roof.
