Description

This house was moved to Dønnes from Selfors in Rana after the great fire in 1892 and became the servants' quarters. It is thought to first have been built in 1868. The windows' small panes, the double door with a transom window and the board on board vertical cladding all indicate that they are older than the main house and rather date from the late empire-style era.

To the right on this picture is a part underground storehouse, which was not damaged by the fire in 1892. Such storehouses provide year round stable temperature and humidity.
