Description

The washhouse has a timber frame construction with vertical external cladding, and the birch bark and turf roof is built using rafters. There are two, not internally connected, rooms. The oldest part has an open fireplace with chimney straight up through the roof. The northern room is an extension with its own external stairs. The windows are thought to have been added at the same time as the extension.
