"Hamningberg fiskevær" (4 of 7)
Description
The old chapel did accidentally burn down during WW2. The new chapel was reopened in 1949 as the first new consecrated church building in Finnmark after the ravages of the war. The chapel was designed by the architect Sverre Poulsen from Oslo. It is a simple rectangular building that has a steep roof with a low square turret above the entrance.
