Description

The oldest parts of the religious meetinghouse originate back to the 1890s. It gained status as a chapel in 1931. It belongs to Den Læstadianske Menighet i Lyngen (the Laestadian Congregation of Lyngen) and reflects the rich history and the strength of the Laestadian movement in the area. The building consists of both log constructions and wooden stud frames and has white wooden external cladding and predominantly slate roofs.
