Description
The light station was established in 1910 to guide ships into the approach to Kirkenes. The original building with a wall mounted lantern and some outbuildings were completely destroyed during the German retreat in 1944. The foundations of the old living quarters and outbuildings can still be seen. The remains of a German coastal fort with artillery guns
