The folding doors along the side walls of the stove recesses can be taken out and closed around the altar baldachin, so that the entire altar niche inside the communion rail is closed off from the rest of the choir when the church is used for non-ecclesiastical meetings. A sleeping recess for the priest was incorporated in the sacristy. The interior and furnishings are comparatively simple and sombre in style.

The crucifix over the altar was designed by Arthur Gustavson, who was also responsible for the altar wall in Svanvik Chapel.
