The two long blocks contain offices, meeting rooms and more. They are connected with a one-storied central building that contains the main entrance. West of the longest block lies the county governor's residence, the main façade faces east and towards the town. The main entrance is located on the building's southeast corner, facing the street Damsveien. A caretaker's residence lies at a right angle to the county governor's residence, its entrance is accessed from the street G. Gulliksens gate.
