"Statens hus" (4 of 5)
Description
The county governor's residence is two-storied and has a saddle roof. The main façade, which is south facing and overlooks the town, is on the building's gable side. While the main volume is two-storied and has a saddle roof, the complex steps downwards with one-storied annexed volumes that have flat roofs. This applies to the building's main entrance that has a vestibule, dining room and west facing garage, along with the caretaker's residence. The walls that shelter the main flight of stairs and the terrace, in-between the living room and dining room, represent the "stepping down" on the exterior of the complex.
