On the street Ringveien, right behind the town centre, a structure with four flats was built early on. These flats appeared somewhat meagre and lacked balconies. This type of residence disappeared in the first half of the 1950s, and was replaced with a two-storied terrace house. On the street Ringveien, opposite from the blocks with four flats, six rows with four houses in each were built - the Hydro type 258 residence, also designed by the architect Jens Selmer.
