Harstad's 7km long Sea View Trail is a long-term project aiming to create both nature trails and an urban waterfront promenade. When completed it will pass through residential areas, the town centre, industrial areas and untouched natural terrain: from Trondenes to Stangnesodden. The organisation's intention is to create an arena ofr social interaction and encourage new development along the town's shore and waterfront.
