Description

In the 1960s the bank Harstad Sparebank needed to expand, it was first proposed to tear down the old building. Instead the bank bought the neighbouring estate located behind (Nergaard-gården) which was then torn down. Early in the 1970s an annex was built behind the old building and the bank moved into the new premise in 1973. The annex was designed by Nils Toft arkitekt MNAL.
