Description
The small ochre cheese house with its cantilevered birch bark and turf roof above the door is probably the farm’s oldest building. Cheese produced for sale and other essential foods were stored here. The building has two rounds of logs at the bottom of the wall, corner posts and log gable ends. The walls have thick vertical wooden cladding.
