This residential area is comprised of low-rise blocks of flats (one can vaguely be seen to the left in the photo), a terrace house and row house (vaguely seen on the right edge of the photo). This area was collectively developed in the beginning of the 1960s and was one of the first sections, on Tromsø Island, to have a dense amount of small housing units. Both the two-storied richly coloured small housing units and the three-storied blocks of flats have good sun exposure along with a spacious outdoor area.
