Description
The grand Empire style portal has embedded Doric columns, a heavy cap piece and a large projecting cornice. It also embodies a number of other elements from Classical architecture which belong to the Empire style, such as strips decorated with a pearled pattern, triglyphs and tooth-like incisions. A lunette window is located above the two-winged panelled door.
