Description

The Empire windows have a central post and three individual glass panes in each frame. Here one can see that the window framing is simpler than on the portal, with rhombus shaped brackets that support the weather bar. This style of framing was common during the first half of the 19th century in Tromsø, as well as in Trondheim during the beginning of the 19th century.
