Setermoen leir, lagerbygninger (Kavallerileiren på Setermoen, The Cavalry Camp at Setermoen, Storage-buildings)
Description
Setermoen, 9365 Bardu
At the northern end and on the outskirts of today's Setermoen military camp, three large magazine buildings are lined up along a terrain slope, surrounded by pine trees. They belonged to the old Cavalry Camp and are today used for welfare purposes.
The ochre-painted magazine buildings are two stories high with an additional attic under the steep slate-covered gable roof. The post construction is clad with vertical overlapping wooden boarding and features windows with a central mullion and a three-part frame on each side. The buildings have entrances in the middle of the long sides, and a staircase leads up to all the floors.
