Description

Sjåhaugveien 32 was an engineer's residence with outbuildings built in 1917 for A/S Bjørkåsen Gruber. The engineer's residence is two stories high, stands on jointed natural stone walls, and has a gable roof covered with slate. The building has vertical timber paneling and Neo-Baroque detailing characteristic of the period around World War I. It features marked corner boxes and triangular and curved fields above windows and doors. Inside, the room layout, material use, detailing, and original stoves are preserved.
