"Paulsengården" (3 of 5)
Description
Thus, the house was completed in all its glory in 1904, after the old one burned the year before. With such a short construction time, it is plausible to think that it came as a "prefabricated house" from one of the major prefabricated house manufacturers in Trøndelag, M. Thams and Co in Orkdal or Jacob Digre in Trondheim, but this is an assumption. Both companies were large when this house was built, and delivered houses across the country and to Europe. Both companies produced houses in "national style," as they named it, or in Swiss style (neo-gothic) as we call it today.
