Description
The family built its first cabin on this site in 1942 in more or less the same position and shape as the new one. It also had corner windows and mitred horizontal cladding. They wanted to create continuity by repeating and amplifying these features in the new-build which also has windows on all corners, but wider cladding boards and a steeper roof.
