The cabin is surrounded by dense woodland and tall mountains at the southern end of the Lyngen peninsula in the county of Troms. However, as it’s on a hillside it still enjoys a panoramic view of the mountainous landscape.  

The tall and compact building is crowned by a steep pitched roof. A continuous row of window runs all the way around the outer walls which have horizontal tar treated glulam cladding. The hight of the wall below the windows varies according to the indoor functions and the outside views but also reflects the contours of the surrounding mountains.
