Description
In 2010 the architectural practice A-lab won the competition for two border guard bases close to the Russian border in Sør-Varanger. One is in Pasvik and the other further north in Jarfjord. The Jarfjord base is more or less a mirror image of the Pasvik one. Between them these two cover the length of the Norwegian Russian border and replace six older bases.
