The main house is a log building with external white wooden cladding. The roof has scallop slates and extended eaves on all sides. The footprint of the house is cruciform with a narrow arm facing the garden and entrance area respectively. The house is three rooms long and two rooms wide. It is a handsome building with high ceilings and spacious rooms on the top floor. There are two doors on the entrance side of the house: the main entrance into a glass porch leads to both the doctor's residence and the surgery and the other is the kitchen door. The large windows with a cross mullion, the glass porches and the footprint indicates that this is a simple Swiss chalet style house.
