A number of garages for large vehicles have been added in the area between the old storehouses and the airstrip. On private land adjacent to the airstrip there are several hangars built by the Germans during the Second World War. These are now used for storage. "The North Norwegian Flying Unit's" first aeroplane shed from 1918 is also located outside the boundaries of the arsenal. This is possibly the oldest such building in the country but has unfortunately fallen into disrepair.
