The playground towards the western end of the area was built during the late 1990s.

Jernbanegata (directly translated: the railway street) ends by the railway line. Not far from the playground the pedestrianized street crosses the busy road Ole Tobias Olsens gate and has been extended via an elaborate subway under the railway line and now ends by the seafront at Havmannsplassen where Antony Gormely's 10m tall sculpture "Havmann" stands 15m out in the fjord.
