The building has a roof terrace, and a series of balconies and windows where the cultural landscape around the centre may be enjoyed. The architect's description contains the following concerning the vegetation on the roof terrace: "In the garden on the roof the long grass functions as a modern take on the traditional Norwegian turfed roof". In the completed building there are long bamboo reeds that decorate and delimit the roof terrace.
