Description
The fish processing plant is situated at the edge of the sea and consists of three buildings. One of the structures stands on piles on the foreshore with a wooden quay on the south side. The other two are situated on dry land. All three of these structures are simple buildings and constructed of timber frames. They were built shortly after World War II. The buildings contain storage rooms and production premises of various kinds, such as a cod-liver oil factory. Rooms located in the fishermen's sheds accommodated travelling fishermen. After fishing they delivered their catch to the fish processing plant where it was then prepared.
