The arrival building is situated closest to the classified road and contains a ticket counter, shop, toilets and café. The building is comprised of composite entities that are situated around an oval-shaped inner yard - this is the form that the present site was modelled upon. The buildings are built with timber frames. Wooden panelling was used to clad the walls, and the saddle roofs are covered with wooden boards.
