Description

This low one-storey log building dating from 1880 has a pitched slate roof. It was used for drying and extracting seeds from conifers and other forest plants as part of the tree nursery that was established at Storjord. The seeds were distributed widely across Northern Norway. There is also a small arboretum near by. Both buildings at this property are let by Statskog as holiday accommodation.
