Description

The building is a log house with rebated vertical external cladding except the horizontal shiplap below the ground floor window level. The tall windows on the ground floor and the south-facing large dormer are typical of the jugend style (Northern European art nouveau), but here, unusually, the upper casements' top windowpanes are arched not straight as in the other windows with upper sashes. Window heads supported by consoles and other decorative fretsaw work indicates clear links to the Swiss chalet style. The house is now painted in a pale grey color with white windows and balcony railings. The external doors and some other details are blue.
