This one and a half storey house from 1947 was built from a blueprint. The kitchen, living room and hallway are on the ground floor and the bedrooms are upstairs.

The small combined cattle and hay barn was built in 1946-47. The log construction had been prefabricated in the south of the country. This small holding typically had a horse, two cows and a few sheep. Before the war the animals lived in a goahti (a traditional wood and earth or turf construction).
