Description
There were many clergymen or their wives who loved gardening and left their imprints on the garden over the years. One of the garden's main characteristics today is large trees
many from warmer climes such as copper beech, sycamore, ash, elm and chestnut as well as the local birch trees. The beautiful Alba Maxima rose (its Norwegian name is "vicarage rose" if translated directly) is planted next to the original main entrance, today's garden entrance.
