The wall with its glass sections, the vestibule with its flexible glass wall and the split roof makes the site stand out during the dark seasons of the year like a glittering crystal, and for many it gives the impression of flaming northern lights. The building is a compilation of fire-resistant constructions and a load-bearing system made of prefabricated concrete elements with the insertion of widely-spanning load-bearing steel constructions. There is an emphasis on using durable materials and familiar details both outside and in, in order to lessen maintenance requirements, as well as reducing running and maintenance costs. This is a building that will age with dignity.
