"Noatun" (7 of 7)
Description
The windmill tower that is situated by the peisestua is also a reconstruction. A similar tower was built by Schaanning during the first half of the last century. The exterior of this pyramid-shaped construction is clad with vertical, unpainted boarding. The pyramid consists of three timber logs, set down on the slope to meet at a point at the top. Earth and exterior cladding have been applied to these logs. On the roof, the exterior of which is clad with black pasteboard, is a construction resembling a drying rack for fish where the windmill was previously mounted.
