Description
The avalanche catchment mound was made longer than strictly required and creates a sculptural effect and, as the map shows, the mound smoothly joins the existing mountainside, and this enhances the visual experience for the passers by. At 6.5m wide the new road fulfills the technical requirements of current road standards and offers drivers a comfortable driving experience.
