The partly covered outdoor seating area is carefully designed to give a good viewing of bridge and the midnight sun. The tall main windows of the hall also face this way.

The large assembly hall has a rectangular footprint with rooms for service functions to the side, all at the same floor level with the exception of the stage that is slightly elevated. The walls and ceiling are clad in blond wood. The ceiling has sound absorbing material behind the open wooden cladding. A section of the hall's west facing roof has been lifted to create a large skylight.
