Building no.1 originally had 10 guest rooms of varying sizes, some even with kitchen and dining facilities for guest who wanted to have self-catering. At the centre of the building is a communal living room. It is also linked to building no.2 via a joint lobby/main entrance area. (Floor area 265m2.)
Building no.2 contains the reception, dining room, kitchen and staff facilities and these functions are gathered around the lodge's most important room, a living room with an open fireplace. (Floor area 205m2.)
Building no.3 was built a few years later and contains a warden's flat, four staff bedsits and guestrooms. (Floor area 144m2.)
