Description

The workshop was previously a housing barrack that housed multiple families in the first part of the reconstruction period in Honningsvåg. This building is said to be the oldest housing barrack that is still preserved, more or less unchanged, in the district. The workshop also serves as an office building.

It is a rectangular building and lies with the gable facing the seaside - with a tall natural stoned foundation wall on the seaside. It is clad with vertical panelling and has square double paned windows with two panes in each frame. This type of window is often referred to as "the reconstructed window." The building has a low pitched saddle roof, something that was common for barracks.
